The Sargent 8273-BHW-12VDC-US32D-LC Behavioral Health Electrified Mortise Lock features BHW trim and operates as a double-cylinder, fail-secure device at 12VDC. This Grade 1 lock, finished in 630 Satin Stainless Steel, is field reversible and comes without a cylinder for flexible installation options.

  • Electrical (Fail Safe) Function:
    • 73 function — Power ON, unlocks both levers
    • Key outside retracts latchbolt
    • Lever outside retracts latchbolt, except when locked
    • Lever outside can only be locked electronically
    • Lever inside always retracts latchbolt
    • Auxiliary deadlatch
  • Specify voltage: 12VDC or 24VDC (operates from 12-24VDC)
  • Key on either side retracts latchbolt
  • Lever from either side retracts latchbolt, except when levers are locked
  • Both Levers can only be locked & unlocked electronically
  • Levers can not be locked separately, only together
