Terms of service
Lead times and fabrication times
- Lead times are subject to change. It is the customer's responsibility to email sales@Qualitydoor.com to check on lead times and availability. Stock orders ship within 5-7 business days unless otherwise noted.
- Non-stock items may fall into the 1-2, 2-3 week, or 4-6 week lead times column. Next-day, 2nd-day, or 3rd-day orders on stock items ship within 48-72 hours after receipt of the order. If a delay is longer than 24-48 hours, a customer service rep will contact you right away to let you know all the options. If you have a special request, feel free to call, as same-day shipments can be arranged for an additional charge if available.
Order processing
- Orders will be processed within 24 hours of order placement. Orders canceled before 24 hours will incur a 25% order processing plus 3% merchant fee if processed. Any cancellations after 24 hours of placement will not be accepted.
- Standard processing and shipping time for in-stock orders is 3-5 business days.
- Stock is subject to change at any time.
- Orders received after noon Eastern Standard Time will be processed the following business day.
- Qualitydoor.com may source a product for our customers from another vendor or partner if the order is needed quickly. Any sourced orders are non-returnable.
- Any orders received on a holiday will be processed on the next business day.
Returns / Cancellations
No returns can be accepted on unique-order products or products not marked in stock, for example, with lead times of 1-2 weeks, 2-3 weeks, and 4-6 weeks.
- There are no returns on Parts, ligature-resistant or electrified door hardware parts.
- There are No Returns on Custom Factory Orders and finishes US26, US4, US3, US10, US10B, BSP, DKB Dark Bronze, Matte Black, and/or any custom-finished door hardware.
- There are no returns or cancellations on expedited orders, which include Next, Second, or Third-day air.
- There are no returns on need-it-faster orders. We source these orders from partners to quickly get you the needed material, so we do not take returns on them.
- Free shipping orders are non-returnable.
Approved Returns
To ensure proper handling of your return items, kindly:
- Provide the reason for the return and indicate whether you would prefer a replacement item or an in-house credit to your QDH account
- Provide the purchase date, our original invoice number, and the item number for the returned item. Email sales@qualitydoor.com
You will be provided with an RGA number. Provide the Return Goods Authorization ("RGA") number on the return package. All return items require prior approval and will not be accepted without an RGA number. All unauthorized returns will be shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense.
- Customers are responsible for shipping approved returns back to Qualitydoor.com. Prepay shipping on your return package. QDH cannot accept C.O.D.s. Please make sure you insure the package you're sending back.
- All returns are subject to a 25-45% restocking fee and are only available for stock items. Factory-ordered items are nonreturnable.
Shipping
- QualtiyDoor.com has the right to designate carriers on all shipments. Once the material is signed for and accepted by the airline, the customers are responsible for filing a freight claim directly with the carrier. We do not and cannot ship on any other companies' shipping accounts.
- Qualitydoor.com does not ship to Residential addresses.
- Larger orders will be shipped; a signature will be requested.
International / Canada
- Minimum purchase restrictions and/or additional processing fees may apply. Customers are responsible for all customs and duty fees levied by their inhabited Countries. QualityDoor.com is not responsible for duties and taxes. There are no returns or cancellations for international orders. Qualitydoor.com is a United States-based company; all door hardware is shipped from the USA.
Shortages
- Any shortages report must be made to QualtiyDoor.com within 1-2 business days of the signed receipt.
Claims Damaged defective hardware.
- All claims for hidden damage, missing material, and/or damaged boxes must be made within 24 hrs of receipt. Please send pictures to sales@qualitydoor.com of any damaged deliveries.
No third-party benefit
- The provisions stated here are for the sole benefit of the parties hereto and confer no rights, benefits, or claims upon any person or entity not a party hereto.
Waiver, Choice of Law, and Venue
- The failure of either party to assert a right hereunder or to insist upon compliance with any term or condition will not constitute a waiver of that right or excuse any subsequent nonperformance of any such term or condition by the other party. All transactions shall be governed by the State of New York, excluding its conflict of law rules. To the extent allowed under these terms and conditions, both Quality Door & Hardware Inc. and Customer agree that the venue shall be proper in the state courts in Suffolk County, New York, or Federal courts for the Long Island District.
Payment
- We accept payment via all major credit cards and bank wire. For bank wire forms, please email sales@qualitydoor.com.
- Large orders over $2,500.00 will incur a 3% merchant fee if a credit card is used. Orders over $5,000.00 are bank wire payments or checks only. Please note checks take 10 business days to process.
Pricing
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
Sales Tax
- Orders shipped to New York State, New Jersey, Florida, and Pennslyvania are subject to local sales tax. If you are ordering for an exempt organization or resale, please get in touch with us directly before purchasing online. Exempt or resale certificates must be emailed to sales@qualitydoor.com. If an order has been placed, we will then credit the tax.

Descriptions and graphics
- Images shown are representations of products being sold. The actual product shipped may vary slightly in appearance based on the photo shown.
Intellectual Property
- Customers shall have no right or title. Or interest in the trade names, trademarks, trade dress, copyrights, patents, domain names, product names, catalogs, or any other intellectual property right (“IP”) reserved by Quality Door & Hardware Inc., or any IP owned by manufacturers and/or suppliers of QualtiyDoor.com. Customers shall have no right to use or copy any IP of QualtiyDoor.com or its manufacturers and or suppliers without QualtiyDoor.com's express written consent.
Assignment
- The customer shall not assign any order or interest therein without the prior written consent of QualtiyDoor.com. Any actual or attempted assignment without Quality Door & Hardware Inc.’s approval shall entitle QualtiyDoor.com to cancel such order upon notice to the customer.
Force Majeure
- Quality Door and Hardware Inc. shall not be liable for any delay in, or impairment of, performance resulting in whole or in part from any force majeure event, including but not limited to acts of God, labor disruptions, acts of war, acts of terrorism, governmental decrees or controls, insurrections, epidemics, quarantines, shortages, communication or power loss, fires, accidents, explosions, inability to procure or ship product or obtain permits and licenses, failure to procure supplies or raw materials, or any other circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Qualitydoor.com (Quality Door & Hardware Inc.)
Severability
- Suppose any or portion of these terms and conditions is found invalid or unenforceable. In that case, the invalid or unenforceable term shall be severed from these terms, and the remaining terms and conditions shall be valid and fully enforceable as written.
Authorization
- Business customers must ensure that anyone accepting their Terms of Sale is authorized and that all employees accessing Qualtiydoor.com or making purchases are duly authorized to do so, and agree to indemnify Quality Door and Hardware Inc. against any breach of this representation.
Limited of Liability
- QualtiyDoor.com (Quality Door and Hardware Inc.) and Third-Party providers expressly disclaim any liability for consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages in the performance of services. The liability of QualtiyDoor.com or a Party provider performing
Services in all circumstances are limited to, and shall not exceed, the purchase price for the performance.
Indemnity
- Business Customers shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Quality Door & Hardware Inc., Third-Party providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and subcontractors from and against any claims, suits, liabilities, damages, settlements, charges, taxes, and any other losses or expenses for physical injury to, illness or death of, any third party regardless of status and damage to or destruction of any tangible property which the third party may sustain or incur.
Governing Law Limitations
- The rights and obligations of the parties under these terms and conditions shall not be governed by the 1980 United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Rather, they shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, U.S., including its provisions of the Uniform Commercial Code but excluding its conflict of law rules.
