LCN 1460-18FC Drop Plate for 1460 Series, For Use With Full Cover
The LCN 1460-18FC Drop Plate is a heavy-duty mounting accessory designed specifically for hinge side (pull side) installations of LCN 1460 Series surface-mounted door closers with a full cover. This drop plate is required when the door’s top rail measures less than 2-1/2" (64 mm) and accommodates openings with a minimum 1-1/2" (38 mm) top rail or 1-1/4" (32 mm) head frame. Constructed from durable steel to support ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 performance when used with the 1460 closer, the 1460-18FC provides secure reinforcement for commercial and institutional applications. Ideal for schools, hospitals, government buildings, and other high-traffic facilities, this plate ensures proper closer mounting while maintaining professional, code-compliant installation standards.
