Sargent 55-56-8874-E-ETL-24V-US32D is a 24-32" Rim Exit Device that has an Electrified "ET" Trim with an L Lever, that is 24 Volts in Fail Secure function - Power Off Locks Lever (No Cylinder). The Sargent 55-56-8874-E-ETL-24V-US32D also has a (56) Remote Latch Retraction feature, and a (55) Request To Exit feature, is handed, and comes in US32D Stainless Steel Finish.
55- Request-to-Exit Option
SARGENT Request-to-Exit Signal Switch option for exit devices provides push rail monitoring for a variety of applications; such as to sound an alarm, initialize a delayed egress system, or de-energize an electromagnetic lock.
56- Electric Latch Retraction Option
SARGENT’s Electric Latch Retraction exit device is the perfect choice for high-traffic egress doors that require access control. This non-handed exit device rail is durable and easy to install. It utilizes a latch retraction motor rather than a solenoid, ensuring quiet operation ideal for locations such as conference rooms, theaters, and libraries. Once retracted, the door functions in a push/pull manner.
The 56-exit device can be dogged for momentary ingress and egress and is commonly used in conjunction with an automatic door operator. The device can be dogged continuously on fire-rated devices that are tied into the building’s fire detection system
8800 Series Rim Exit Devices
The 8800 series is designed for standard-width stile applications on wood and metal doors.
The 8800 Series is a reversible rim exit device that sets the industry standards for durability and reliability. It is part of Sargent's full line of exit devices.
Door Types: Wood or metal 1-3/4"(44mm) Thick Door; Over 1-3/4" specify thickness and order as a 31- prefix.
Door Widths:
- E Rail - 24" to 32" (61cm to 81cm) No cutting required for 32" door
- F Rail - 33" to 36" (84cm to 91cm) No cutting required for 36" door
- J Rail - 37" to 42" (94cm to 107cm) No cutting required for 42" door
- G Rail - 43" to 48" (110cm to 122cm) No cutting required for 48" door
