Sargent 2970-EN Fire Guard Electromechanical Closer-Holder Release Devices are designed to hold open fire- and smoke-rated doors until power is interrupted by a fire alarm condition or remote release switch. The Sargent 2970-EN Fire Guard Closer-Holder connects to the building's smoke and fire system, providing automatic closing during fire (emergency) conditions.
