HES 9600-630 Rim Panic Device Electric Strike, Surface Mounted, 3/4" Thickness, Fail Safe/Fail Secure, 12/24VDC, Satin Stainless Steel Finish
This product, the HES 9600-630 Rim Panic Device Electric Strike, is a surface mounted device with a thickness of 3/4", available in both fail safe and fail secure modes. It operates on either 12VDC or 24VDC and has a satin stainless steel finish.
The HES 9600 Series Electric Strike is designed to be both windstorm resistant and easily mountable on the surface of the door frame. This series is specifically engineered to work with rim exit devices that have a 3/4" throw Pullman latchbolt. One of the key features is that all its components are fully enclosed within a 3/4" thick stainless steel housing, eliminating the need for any frame cutting during installation. Simply position the electric strike on the frame's surface, align it with the exit latchbolt, and secure it in place.
Additionally, the design has been optimized for easier adjustments, with the base now separate from the cover. This strike is also versatile, being field selectable for either fail-secure or fail-safe operation and can be adjusted for 12 or 24 VDC power inputs. This makes it a highly adaptable solution suitable for a variety of security needs.
